BIO

My name is Clara Calmon, I'm 29 years old, from Rio de Janeiro and I’m a graphic designer and visual artist. I work with watercolour art, surface and print design.

I'm bachelor in Industrial Design at Fluminense Federal University and did an exchange program in Portugal in 2018 to study gestalt and semiotics. Throughout my academic and professional journey, I became fascinated with experimenting with different materials and techniques in arts and crafts.

I have a curious mind and exploring the world is part of my personal and artistic inquiry process. Over the past few years, I’ve been traveling around Brazil and others countries such as Jamaica, China, Mexico, Indonesia, Italy, Spain, Germany, Portugal, Switzerland, France, Slovakia, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, and the United States.

After experiencing places with lush nature, I was able to develop my creative personal identity, which involves representing nature as it truly is: rich in details and with intense color scales.

Over the past 10 years of my professional journey, I’ve contributed my creative craft to brands like Fjällräven, Monte Carlo, AquaRio, Kouda, Via Mia, Roxy, HB - Hot Buttered, YowSurf, and FarmRio Brazil and FarmRio Global. I currently work as a freelancer and live in Bali, Indonesia.
